As we inscribe the footprints of this lifetime, there's a place, in most of our minds, that has this "yearning" ... a yearning to know what "lies ahead" !! It's a craving to become aware of all the people, all the places, all the major (and sometimes minor) events that are about to unfold before our very eyes, as we process through this journey called "life".

And so we search
"elsewhere" for answers.

We come into this lifetime to live ... to play ... to be tactile ... to experience !!
Get It ? ... Live ... Play ... Experience ! Nowhere else in the Universe is this possible !
Watch kids ... they're spontaneous ... daring ... inquisitive ... genuine ... HAPPY !!
Scrape a knee every once in a while ... sure.
Fall out of a tree tree and get the wind knocked out of 'em occasionally ... absolutely.
Get pissed at the other kids, grab the only ball on the field
(so nobody else can play either) and march home in tears ... every once in a while.
SO WHAT !?!

What they do need ? ... Guidance ... Perspective ... LOVE ... APPRECIATION !
"BE as a Child" ... He said it sooooo well !

Kids "experience" life ... as it unfolds.
They don't require a psychic to tell them how the game will end ... how the dance recital will be received ... or if they'll
pass their 3rd grade math test.

to the most interesting "movie" on the planet ...
we shift our point of view.

So we have to do it all "perfectly" ... no mis-takes ... no re-takes ...
this ain't no game ... this is the real thing ... the real McCoy !!

Could it be because someone told us,
probably early on ...
"You only go around once"
"Life is serious business"
"Make a wrong choice, and you will spend the rest
of eternity in ... well ... you know where !"

It's a part of the "ego", actually !
That little part of the being who needs to know ... who needs to be "right" ... who needs to be taken care of ... who doesn't want to make any mistakes ... who desires not to be responsible
for the choices and the decisions
that are made in the course of everyday existance.
